The CAIC guys always have the most accurate forecasts: "The deepest moisture and best jet support arrive on Friday night. Heavy snowfall spreads into the Central Mountains, with an additional 5 to 10 inches of accumulation expected. Westerly winds in the 20+mph range, with gusts into the 40s, will make for cold conditions and lots of blowing snow. Snowfall tapers, but continues on Saturday, and even the Southern Mountains pick up some decent snowfall. By the time the snowfall winds down on Sunday, we're expecting storm totals of 1 to 2 feet across a broad swath of the Central and Northern Mountains, and 4 to 10 inches along the northwest side of the San Juan Mountains. There is a chance the Park Range and Flat Top Mountains could overperform with this setup, and totals pushing 3 feet are not out of the question.
