I submitted a turkey article for the PCJ today but had to put it on the back burner for a subject that has a shorter shelf life. Turkey hunting will be going on for another month or so which makes it easier to preempt. The reason is a good one: sturgeon spawning. Yep, the modern-day dinosaurs have moved up the Wolf River and have arrived at the Shawano Dam to spawn. Recently I just happened to be there to greet them.
