Not to be missed, this Sunday, December 6 on PBS Fort Wayne at 2PM: An all-new concert experience from PBS Fort Wayne Productions brought to you in collaboration with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Jewish Federation of Fort Wayne.

All-new, Sunday, December 6 at 2PM: Featuring Violinist Vadim Gluzman and Pianist Angela Yoffe "Violins of Hope Retrospective" was recorded live at the Sweetwater Performance Hall on Nov 1, 2020 by PBS Fort Wayne. Hosted by Andrew Constantine and Rabbi Meir Bargeron this program is presented by the Fort Wayne Philharmonic , the Jewish Federation of Fort Wayne, and PBS Fort Wayne. Gluzman and Yoffe perform Beethoven's Sonata No. 5 "Spring", "Baal Shem" by Ernest Bloch, "Kaddish" by Ravel, "Figaro" by Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and Vadim performs an emotional solo piece dedicated to him by Lera Auerbach, "T'filah. "

Collaboration in action: PBS Fort Wayne Productions is proud to share in the spirit of this musical production between the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Orchestras and University of Saint Francis - Fort Wayne, IN music technology students this past Sunday. Look for the finished program to air on PBS Fort Wayne this December!

The music technology students were recording – and will later mix – audio of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Orchestra for a televised broadcast on WFWA PBS Fort Wayne, which filmed the performance.
