Harrison Public School District has been notified of two cases of contagious Pertussis (Whooping Cough) as of August 21, 2025. One student in 8th grade and one student in 12th grade. The school district is working closely with the Arkansas Department of Health to follow required protocols and to determine students and/or staff directly impacted who will need to be notified. There will be minimal impact for students who have received the vaccination for Pertussis. Harrison School District values the safety and security of our students and staff and will follow the rules and protocols provided by the Arkansas Department of Health.
