200km in the LS Cloudmonster 3 Hyper. Has the Helion HF midsole held up?

Durability is one of the biggest questions around the LS Cloudmonster 3 Hyper. A robotically applied LightSpray upper and 45mm of Helion HF PEBA foam at just 205g raises a fair question about how well it holds up over serious mileage.

Thys put them through the ball bounce test after 200km of training, and the verdict is clear. The midsole is just as bouncy now as it was straight out of the box.

Please note that the ball bounce test is purely visual and is in no way a scientific measure of performance or remaining midsole life. It is simply a fun way to see how the foam responds on camera.

The Endorphin Elite 3 is now available, and it arrives as one of the most anticipated super shoe updates of 2026.

The third iteration of Saucony’s flagship marathon racer builds on the IncrediRun TPEE midsole platform introduced in the Elite 2, with a redesigned slotted and forked carbon plate for improved stiffness and propulsion, a revised geometry with a more filled in rear and midfoot for added stability, and a new lightweight knit upper that addresses the fit concerns of the previous version. Stack height sits at 39.5mm in the heel with a 8mm drop, and the shoe comes in at 207g.

Available now at $290.

Two of the best super trainers on the market right now, going head to head. Josh compares the Superblast 3 and the Neo Vista 3

Both shoes sit in the super trainer category, both feature high stack heights and premium foam compounds, and both are built to handle a wide range of training. But they take very different approaches underfoot.

The Superblast 3 runs on FF Leap PEBA foam, the same race day compound found in the ASICS Metaspeed line, paired with a FF Blast Plus base layer for stability. At 46.5mm of heel stack with an 8mm drop and 239g, it is a shoe that rewards effort as the pace climbs and handles everything from easy morning miles to longer endurance efforts.

The Neo Vista 3 brings 44.5mm of nitrogen infused Enerzy NXT foam with a new 3D formed glass fiber reinforced Wave plate designed to act more like a spring at toe off. At 265g and an 8mm drop, it delivers a controlled and directional bounce that suits runners who want a more structured and stable super trainer experience.

Similar price points, similar purposes, different rides. Head to meta-endurance.com for our full reviews of both shoes.

Earlier this year Sharon Lokedi crossed the Boston Marathon finish line in full race day kit, and it is worth a closer look.

The top and shorts were Under Armour race day pieces, clean and purposeful. But the shoes are what grab the attention. The Velociti Elite 3 in her signature bright pink colourway, the limited edition design created in close collaboration with Sharon herself. Bold, confident, and unmistakably hers when she crossed that finish line.

A shoe designed to feel like a personal superpower on race day. Based on the result, it delivered.

Would you race in the Velociti Elite 3? πŸ‘‡

A closer look at the x Adios Pro 4

The Adios Pro 4 is adidas’ marathon racer, built around a Lightstrike Pro foam, carbon fiber EnergyRods running through the midsole, and a lightweight LightLock upper sitting at 39mm of heel stack with a 9mm drop. A race day shoe built for runners who want speed and comfort across the full marathon distance.

The Satisfy colourway brings their signature aesthetic to the platform. Earth tones, premium materials, and the kind of considered design language that Satisfy have built their entire brand around. Two brands that sit at very different ends of the running world, meeting in the middle on one of the most competitive race day platforms of 2026

Would you race in the Adios Pro 4 x Satisfy colourway? πŸ‘‡

Two very different shoes from , two very different foam compounds, going head to head in the ball bounce test. The Adios Prime X Evo vs the Adios Pro 4

The Adios Pro 4 sits at 39mm of heel stack with a 9mm drop, sitting within World Athletics regulations and built for competitive marathon racing. Five carbon EnergyRods run through a Lightstrike Pro midsole, delivering a fast and responsive ride built for race day efforts from the half marathon to the marathon

The Adios Prime X Evo takes things to a completely different level. At 50mm of Lightstrike Pro Evo foam, a more advanced and more energetic compound than the Lightstrike Pro found in the Pro 4, it sits well outside of World Athletics stack height regulations. Designed not for official road races but for ultra distance performance where cushioning and energy return over many hours matter most

Same brand, different foam, wildly different purposes. Was the ball bounce results what you expected? πŸ‘‡

Please note that the ball bounce test is purely visual and is in no way a scientific measure of performance. It is simply a fun way to see how the foam in each shoe responds on camera

have just announced the Novablast 6, and the headline update is a significant one

For the first time, the forefoot trampoline pod of the Novablast is powered by FF Turbo Squared foam, the same technology previously found in the Megablast and Sonicblast. It brings enhanced energy return and a more responsive, spring-like sensation to the forefoot, working alongside the FF Blast Max midsole that delivers softness and comfort underfoot. The result is a more balanced and energetic ride than any previous Novablast. The outsole also gets an update with ASICSGRIP rubber in the forefoot for improved traction and a more efficient toe off, and the engineered mesh upper has been refined for improved breathability and a more adaptive fit

The geometric midsole design that has defined the franchise visually remains, keeping that distinctive trampoline inspired aesthetic intact

Available globally from July 1st 2026 at €160

Are you a Novablast loyalist, and does the addition of FF Turbo Squared convince you to make the upgrade to the 6? πŸ‘‡
