From May 3rd to May 31st, 2025, Magik Theatre brought the beloved Mexican game Lotería to life in a vibrant, bilingual and family-friendly stage adventure.

This colorful adventure was illuminated and programmed by lighting designer Jordan Armstrong, who utilized a dynamic array of MEGA-LITE fixtures to create a visually stunning experience. The lighting setup included: 10 MW1, 1 Framebot 600, 4 MS1, 14 N-E Pixstrip H216, 4 Drama LED W50, 2 Drama VW2, 1 Nova lite UV, 1 H6 Hazer, 1 Mega Node, 8 PieLite Multibeam.

In addition, six MEGA VIEW Falcon Panels were installed at the center of the stage, serving as the visual focal point of the Lotería world. Under the direction of video designer Mickey Raley, the iconic cards were brought to life in a dazzling display of animation and lighting.

The Alamodome has been a cultural landmark in San Antonio since opening its doors in 1993. Designed as a versatile community hub, it has hosted a vast array of local, regional, and international events for more than three decades. Now, thanks to a visionary lighting project, the venue is entering a new era of brilliance.

The new lighting installation was a collaborative effort between MEGA-LITE and ISI City Smart Lights, combining expertise and innovation to bring the Alamodome’s exterior to life. Lighting artists and designers Eduardo Orozco Sr. and Eduardo Orozco Jr. led the design, selecting the advanced Outshine Q500, an IP rated fixture featuring 48 powerful LEDs, 16-bit dimming, and smooth color transitions for stunning visual effects. Sixty units were strategically placed around the building’s perimeter, creating a vibrant 50-foot wash that dramatically enhances the building's nighttime presence.

Eduardo Orozco Sr. further noted: “Our experience with MEGA LITE has been outstanding from start to finish. The team’s support across sales, design, programming, warranty, and technical service was crucial to the project’s success. Their commitment to excellence ensured every detail was addressed with care and professionalism.”

From June 11 to 13, MEGA-LITE participated in InfoComm Show, a professional AV trade show that brings together manufacturers, integrators, dealers, and clients from across the globe.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with professionals in the live entertainment industry while continuing to explore and shape the future of the field. With over 30,000 attendees this year, we presented a range of lighting, control, and trussing solutions to an international audience.

This year, MEGA-LITE exhibited alongside Alcons Audio at booth 7345 and featured fixtures like the Viceroy, the Deco Line Series, the Followbot Compact 1000W LED, the Total Control D2 and many more.
MEGA-LITE’s products were also used in the Demo Room W231A.

We thank Alcons Audio for the opportunity to exhibit at this year’s InfoComm. This partnership plays a key role in the company’s ongoing mission to build strong relationships that support the continued development of the live entertainment industry.
