On September 20, 2025, the Magik Theatre in San Antonio hosted its annual fundraiser, A Night of Magik.

The venue was transformed into a glamorous Hollywood-style premiere, complete with a red carpet entrance, themed décor and photo spot opportunities that welcomed guests to an unforgettable night under the stars.

The lighting design for the event was led by Thaddeus Morris, who also served as the Lighting Supervisor and Programmer. He used a variety of MEGA-LITE fixtures throughout the theatre, courtyard and lobby: 10 MW1s, 1 Framebot, 4 MS1s, 2 Viceroys, 4 Toad Hybrid LED 400, a MEGA Node, 2 Outerbots Wash 340, 4 EB1s, 6 Teclights BVW150, 16 Light Trusses, 30 Color Pac 150Ns, 3 Total Control Radio DMXs and a Tetra Driver 16.

We are proud to have been part of this year’s A Night of Magik, supporting a local theatre that continues to bring creativity and inspiration to young audiences through the power of performance and light.

During this year’s New York Fashion Week, the Edison Ballroom presented a fashion runway produced by HiTechModa where the Teclight BVW150 was incorporated into the lighting design of the show.

Lighting Designer, Thomas Smith, used ten Teclight BVW150 fixtures, integrating them into the existing house rig to illuminate the 48-foot runway with an even wash. This setup ensured that the models were clearly visible from every angle of the audience.

Reflecting on the fixture’s performance, Smith commented: “I was blown away by just how powerful they were and the fixtures’ ability to evenly wash such a long runway with only five fixtures per side.”
