For Black Music Month, we're honoring the icons who didn't just sing—they shifted everything. This year's theme says it best: Sounds of the Culture.
Mahalia Jackson took gospel from the pews to the world stage. Andraé Crouch blended it with rock and soul. The Clark Sisters harmonized in ways nobody had ever heard. Kirk Franklin brought hip-hop and R&B to the choir stand and made our parents clutch their pearls and dance anyway. 🙌🏾

And we can't forget Pastor Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, and Fred Hammond are all voices that turned faith into a feeling we could all move to.
