I want to share a deeply personal case that’s incredibly close to my heart. My client was wrongfully charged with murder and aggravated assault here in Harris County. From day one, I believed in his innocence. I assured him that as long as he believed in his own innocence, I would stand by him, and I trusted that God would see him through.💔 With a staggering bail set at $600,000, he spent nearly three years confined in county jail. Despite the emotional and physical toll, his spirit remained positive and hopeful, driven by his love for his young daughter. His unwavering trust in our legal team, led by Attorney Lena Hinton and myself, kept him strong.⚖️ We fought tirelessly for justice through numerous investigations, repeated crime scene visits, and countless witness interviews. As we prepared for trial, our dedication paid off, and the case was dismissed on August 1.❤️ The reason I practice criminal law is to change lives and fight for the innocent—especially those whom the criminal justice system unfairly targets. We live in a society where minorities often do not receive fair treatment, and there must be advocates to stand up for them.🙏 We thank God that Bobby is now free, but his case represents many others in the county who face similar injustices. I will continue to fight for those individuals, ensuring they receive the fair treatment they deserve.
