Production is a profession and a passion for our team.

Ruth Villatoro, VP of Operations at VISION is also a co-founding member of HAP - the Houston Association of Producers. This group of individuals started meeting informally with the intention of staying connected and talk about pressing issues in our industry. They quickly realized there was a need for more community and advocacy for film production in Houston. HAP was officially formed at the beginning of 2025 and they hosted their first major event - the HAPIE Awards - eight months later!
