I thought I needed a better strategy.

More content.

More consistency.

More effort.

But the truth?

I was doing all the right things... from the wrong identity.

So nothing stuck.

I would show up, then disappear.

Feel motivated, then doubt myself.

Not because I wasn't capable.

But because my mind and nervous system were still wired for lack.

Here’s the truth most people don’t want to admit…

I didn’t fail because I wasn’t capable.
I burned out because I was doing it the way everyone told me to.

Post more.
Do more.
Be everywhere.
Push harder.
Don’t stop.

And for a while… I listened.

But deep down, something felt off.
Because no matter how much I did, it never felt like enough.
And success started to feel heavy… instead of freeing.

That’s when it hit me:

I wasn’t building a life…
I was building another version of the same trap I was trying to escape.

So I stepped back.

Not because I’m giving up…
But because I refuse to build success in a way that drains me.

Now I’m doing things differently.

More aligned.
More intentional.
Less noise.
More truth.

Here’s the truth most people don’t say out loud…

It’s not just about making more money.

It’s about having control over your life.

Because what’s the point of a paycheck
if you still have to ask permission to rest…
to be present…
to live?

To be there for your child.

To sit in the audience without checking your phone for emails.
To say “yes” to a school event without worrying about work.
To not have to explain to your boss why your child needs you today.

I remember hearing about a little girl who had a solo at her school performance…

and her mom couldn’t come because of work.

The teacher stepped in. Took the photos. Recorded everything.
Trying to fill a space that should’ve never been empty.

That stuck with me.

Because how many moments like that do we miss before we finally admit…

this isn’t the life we actually want?

I’ve been there.
Working hard. Showing up. Doing everything “right.”

But deep down, I felt it…

There has to be more than this.

Not because I was ungrateful…
But because I knew I was capable of more.

More freedom.
More time with my family.
More alignment with who I really am.
