Join the "Counter Culture" on Saturday, 1/31, in Mount Sterling KY with 100% of the proceeds going to the Gateway Regional Arts Center.

GRAC means a great deal to us, and they lost a considerable amount of funding due to DOGE cuts. We are teaming up with our good friends and one of KY's finest bands, Bedford Band to try and put some money back in their pockets. We haven't played with them in a while and there was no better place for a reunion. They're good people, and we're instantly down for the cause.

Kentuckians take care of one another. We hope all of us can come together to support a positive force in the community. Their outreach extends across 22 counties in Eastern KY and they provide a place for kids to exercise their imaginations and learn in a fun way. That's something we all ought to be able to get behind.

We are going to debut new songs live from our upcoming album ahead of their official release along with songs from our first two albums!

If you're overwhelmed by all the negativity and looking to make a positive impact in the community join us for an evening of music. It's as simple as that. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

🎭 AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT: The Sweet Life: The Ruth Hunt Story - A Live Radio Play 🎭

✨WORLD PREMIERE✨
A brand new play written by Cat Goguen
Directed by Jordan Campbell

Audition Dates (choose ONE):
• Wednesday, December 3rd | 6–8 PM
• Thursday, December 4th | 6-8 PM
Performance Dates: February 6-7 & 12-13, 2026

🍬Who can audition?
Anyone age 5 and up. This show features youth and adult roles!

🍬What should I prepare?
No prior preparation needed. Auditonees will participate in theatre exercises and cold read from the script. Be ready to begin at 6pm sharp. Auditionees will stay until released by the director.

🍬What is the show about?
Step back in time for a charming live radio play that tells the inspiring story of Ruth Hunt, the beloved founder of Ruth Hunt Candies. Experience how one woman’s homemade cream candy recipe grew into a Kentucky confectionery legacy through determination, kindness, and a sprinkle of sugar. Complete with classic radio sound effects and vintage flair, this performance celebrates local history, entrepreneurship, and the power of community tradition—one sweet story at a time.

A live radio play is a performance that feels like an old-fashioned radio show brought to life on stage. Instead of relying on sets or costumes, the story is told through the actors’ voices, live sound effects, and music—all performed in front of the audience. Actors read from scripts, so there’s no need to memorize lines or do much physical acting. The focus is on using your voice, timing, and creativity to make the audience “hear” the story come alive

🍬Where do I sign up?!

So proud of these fellers! Cody Lee Meece and Joe Clark Music

2,000 miles of road, 8 cities, 10 days. 4,000 miles from home. England, Scotland, Wales, Accents, airplanes, architecture, Kebabs and curry, guitars and songwriters, coffee, country music and heavy metal, opposite roads, stonewalls, coffee, laughter, confusion & exhaustion. Coffee. There is no way to sum it all up.

I never imagined as a young musician that I would make it out of Kentucky, let alone tour internationally. The UK was an adventure of a lifetime. We poured our hearts out in our songs in every venue, and gave the folks in the UK the best version of our Appalachian sound that we have to give. I can say with confidence that we made a solid statement for the great state of Kentucky. I hope and pray that our songs and stories made a difference, and that the people we came in contact with throughout this tour took something positive away from it.

For the Love of Appalachia has helped change my life… Lance Rogers, Kat Deeds, Georgia Mae & Adam, TJ & Ronnie with The Rugged Revival, Susannah Clegg, Scott Ashworth, Paul Armour, Southern Roots, have all made an incredibly positive impact on my life and for that I am forever grateful. For the Love of Appalachia is a perfect example of how to make a difference for independent artists. To every person that filled a seat and gave us their ear, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Most importantly, I barely knew Cody Lee Meece before this trip, and I have made a lifelong friend out of this tour. I couldn’t have asked for a better musician to be partnered with. Cody is one of a kind. Make sure to follow his music. We did it brother. ✊🏻

Until next time UK… and there will for sure be a next time. Be good to one another.
