On this Friday’s show, Part 2 of the conversation that sparked the atheist revolution, the 2007 meeting of Christopher Hitchens, Daniel Dennett, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris— The Four Horsemen. Hitchens was a British and American author and journalist. His epistemological razor, which states that "what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence", is still of mark in philosophy and law. Dennett was an American philosopher and cognitive scientist. His research centered on the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of science, and the philosophy of biology, particularly as those fields relate to evolutionary biology and cognitive science. He taught at UCI from 1965 1971. Dawkins is a British evolutionary biologist, zoologist, science communicator and author. He is an emeritus fellow of New College, Oxford. Harris is a philosopher, neuroscientist, and author who explores how advancements in understanding the mind and world impact how we should live.
