🔥New Wildfire-Ransome Fire🔥

Resources are responding to the Ransome Fire in the Quartz Creek area on the Libby Ranger District. The fire was detected Thursday morning, and the cause is currently unknown.

Resources currently on scene include hand crews, a helicopter and a dozer.

Smoke is visible from Libby and the surrounding area.

❗️Please avoid the area for firefighter safety.

Updates will continue once more information and an accurate size is available.
