This is Shea Briar. Shea served our country in the United States Navy. We are honoring the memory of Shea. We recognized him in 2020 as my Military person of the week. Shea lost his life in 2020, not in the military, but by three individuals who are now serving time in prison.The story made national news the last couple weeks. I was asked if I would rerun the memory of Shea on my show. Jan 12th is the day the tragedy happened. I spent an hour on the phone with Shea’s mom. We talked about a lot of things. The story is heartbreaking. I am honored on behalf of Ottawa Ordnance, T-102 and the Rowdy Ron show to honor his memory on my show and to say thanks for his military service in the United States Navy. Rest in Peace my friend. I was lucky enough to receive access to see the Former Tuberculosis Hospital here in Lima prior to being torn down. Hearing so much about the property over my years in Lima I jumped at the opportunity. I wanted to stress the PROPERTY IS NO LONGER STANDING! Thanks to The Allen County Land Bank & the owners of the property! -JB

This week I celebrate close to 20 years of not smoking. This wonderful young man celebrated his 19th birthday this week and I remember when I found out my wife was pregnant with our son. I threw down two packs a day and never looked back. Don’t let anybody ever tell you you can’t do it. You can quit smoking cold turkey. If I could do it, you can definitely do it. Rowdy Ron T-102

Today we salute the memory of Don Miner, better known as ‘Hubba’ to everybody that knew him. Sadly, Don passed away a few weeks ago, but we wanted to honor his family and his legacy for his service in the United States Marine Corps. I knew Don for many years and I tell you right now that he never knew a stranger. He had a smile that would light up a room and a handshake for everybody.
