How it all began...

During the spring of 2013, at the age of eleven, I was given the opportunity to become a batboy for a local independent baseball team, known as the New Jersey Jackals. As the years went on, I’ve been able to learn a lot about the game of baseball and form countless relationships with the players, coaches, and staff.

About four and a half years ago, during the summer of 2015, I thought that it would be a cool idea to interview the players and coaches and put them up on a website. That’s when www.billythebatboyscorner.com was created. Since then, I’ve conducted countless amounts of interviews with not just baseball players, but athletes from various sports as well as support personnel.

After five years with the Jackals, I thought that I would be able to help the organization in other ways than just being a batboy. I approached them with the idea of helping the media department to create videos for the video board and social media. I also created a 2 hour documentary of the history and evolution of the Jackals organization.

As a result of getting to know the players and what kind of talent is needed here, I began to help the field manager find players for the team.
