Watching community happen.
This month, the Left Field Writing Group gathered again at the Denver Press Club for their monthly conversation, encouragement, problem-solving, laughter, and the reminder that writing may happen alone, but writers probably shouldn’t.
We’re grateful for this group and the space they’ve created together.
And it has us wondering…

Here's what he said: "Ok, I’ve been keeping a secret.. I wrote another book! Well, actually co-wrote, with the amazing Toby Hendy, better known as on YouTube and Insta. It’s a robot/AI story conceived by Toby that turned out to be a really nice companion piece to my book Hard Wired. It’s called Alpha Creek and you can preorder now via Toby’s website. Spring feels like a season made for reading—longer light, open windows, and pages that somehow turn a little slower. “Seasons create the pace of our lives.” I need to calibrate for each season but I rarely allow this to happen.

In my endlessly chaotic life, I feel like I need a little nature, a little reflection, a little breathing room. I’m squeezing in moments when I pick up these books. (Then I’ll go back to the intense reading of manuscripts, comp books, my new fave genre horror, and anything else that sparkles.)

What’s on your current reading stack? Anything that feels like it belongs in this season?
