Wisconsin Engineer Magazine The Wisconsin Engineer magazine is published by and for students at UW-Madison. The Wisconsin Engine The Wisconsin Engineer was first published in June of 1896.

It was one of the original five magazines to join Engineering College Magazines Associated (ECMA). The Wisconsin Engineer is published four times a year by and for the students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Staff size varies but generally ranges from 30-45 members. The faculty advisor (2011) is Steven Zwickel. The advisor also teaches a one-credit class titled Engineering Professional De

velopment 690: Special Topics, where instruction on the magazine occurs. The Wisconsin Engineer is pubvlished four times yearly: September, November, February and April. A non-profit corporation was set up to publish the magazine in 1912. The non-profit status is kept by filing out a yearly report with the state. The magazine continues to archive all magazines.
