Construction Begins at Sheehan-Basquil Park

Manchester Parks & Rec is pleased to announce that work has begun at Sheehan-Basquil Park to transform a former baseball field into a new natural-grass soccer field.

Construction is expected to continue through December 1, 2026, with the new soccer field anticipated to be available for use in Spring 2027.

During construction, there should be minimal disruption to traffic on Maple St. and surrounding roadways. Sidewalk access will remain available with minimal interruption anticipated. Other park activities and amenities are expected to remain accessible throughout construction.

We appreciate the community's patience while this improvement is completed and look forward to welcoming players and families to the new field next spring.
