Have you ever felt it; that bone-deep longing for relief, not as an escape but as an act of transcendence and release? As if your entire being is pleading for lightness, for evolution, for reassurance beyond the noise, the pain, the pressure, the ache of being alive. Not to flee, but for the intensity itself to evaporate; to disconnect from the fervor of the moment and return to something healed, something peaceful, something that existed before the pain dominated your experience.
"Escape Myself" was born from that ache. It emerged in the quiet aftermath of invisible battles, the kind no one sees but you carry in your body, your breath, your heart. It is a sonic offering for those of us who stay, who endure, who long to transform without asking permission.
The rhythm is intentional; the percussion moves and rattles like the thoughts that will not still. The bass is heavy and grounding, like the gravity of chronic pain or the weight of grief that never fully leaves. The melody does not soar, it reaches; slow, deliberate, like light pushing through water. It wants something better. It wants you back.
I became the choir in this piece. I recorded my own voice and layered it into the atmosphere like a distant memory of faith. I sang not from a place of performance, but from a place of prayer. A whisper to my future self. A balm for my nervous system. A requiem and a reclamation.
This is not just a track. It is a mirror for those moments when you wish you could press pause on the world. It is a sanctuary carved out of sound. It is proof that energy can still be made from pain, and that even in the darkest corners of the human experience, there is still a way through, as life has a way of working out.
I hope it moves you. Let it transform you. Let it be an escape that sets you free.
"I wish I could do that sometimes.... ESCAPE MYSELF".
