Which of your animals (pet, horse, livestock, etc) is your go to animal? Addie is mine. I don't really run her anymore, but if I just feel like some easy ride time, or I just want to hang out with a horse, she's the one. She is trustworthy, uncomplicated and the same every time.

UPDATE on Dep and the we are using to help his kissing spine: He no longer shows anxiety when we put the pad and surcingle on. He is moving stronger and he has started loping with the bands too. He licks his lips now as he is working. The initial anxiety was because he was expecting pain. Will he show anxiety when we finally start riding him again? Probably, but hopefully it won't last long.
