NEWBORN ABANDONED IN PARKING LOT

The Collinsville Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the parents of a newborn baby who was discovered abandoned in a parking lot on Sunday evening.

According to the police, officers responded to the Cahokia Mounds parking lot at approximately 8:35 p.m. in response to a report of a newborn baby abandoned in a car seat in the parking lot.
