Sometimes sharing your faith isn’t about having the perfect words or handing out the perfect tract. Sometimes it’s simply about being willing to sit down, listen, and talk about God with another person.

In this reflective article, Christopher Krenex shares an unexpected conversation at Chicago’s Union Station that left him wondering if he had done enough — and whether God may have already been working through the encounter.

This one will make many Christians think about how we witness to others in everyday life.

Churches are full of activity, programs, and polished presentations. But are we truly making disciples?

In this challenging article, Jim Huskins compares modern Christianity to a tourist attraction — attractive on the surface, but often disconnected from the deep foundations of biblical faith. He calls believers back to Scripture, obedience, holiness, and the life Jesus modeled.

Whether you agree with every point or not, this article will make you think.

Today, families across America gather around grills, lakes, cemeteries, and small-town parades. Flags wave. Children laugh. Many enjoy a long weekend without giving much thought to why this day exists.
But Memorial Day is not ultimately about a sale, a cookout, or even the beginning of summer.

It is about sacrifice.

It is about young men and women who kissed loved ones goodbye and never came home again. It is about empty seats at family tables, folded flags handed to grieving spouses, and generations who paid a price so others could live in freedom.
Jesus said in John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” No verse captures the heart of Memorial Day more clearly.

As Christians, we understand that sacrifice carries deep meaning. Freedom always costs someone something. Our nation’s freedoms were purchased through the courage and sacrifice of countless Americans. Even more importantly, our eternal freedom was purchased through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Today, may we pause and remember both.

Pray for the families who still carry the pain of loss.
Pray for our nation.
Pray that America would once again seek God with humility and gratitude.

And as you enjoy this Memorial Day, take a quiet moment to thank the Lord for those who gave everything so others could live free.

We remember them.
We honor them.
And we must never forget them.

God bless you, your family, and the United States of America.

Most of us spend too much time stressing over things that won’t matter a year from now.
A wise old preacher once looked at me while I complained about mowing ditch-line grass and simply said, “It’s just grass.” That lesson has stayed with me ever since.
Full Story here...

A wise preacher’s simple words remind us to stop obsessing over life’s little frustrations and focus more on what truly matters most in this life now.
