Got the refreshed Aaron Ginn Racing Transmissions 4L80 back in today, went out for a test drive and got a block away before the driver's side front brake line blew 😭

We limped it back to the shop to try and fix it tonight so we can still make the test and tune at Kearney Raceway Park tomorrow...I really want to see what this E85 stuff is all about with some party pulleys 😎

42 tooth is the smallest 8MM pulley they make, and we're currently running a 47 top and 49 bottom (4% overdriven) so that would put us at 16.5% overdriven if we just changed the top pulley 👀

We also got a 51 tooth and 54 tooth for more combinations up to 28.5% overdrive!! 🤯 that would be the upper limit of how fast we can spin The Blower Shop 10-71 with the rev limit we have on the engine and we'll definitely need more fuel injector/pump and different fuel (methanol 🫣) to run that much boost

I'm so excited to take my son and nephew to Ice Cream Cruise tomorrow!! I really wish I could have had the Burb ready but I'll have just as much fun appreciating the cars and spectating racing and burnouts with my boy this year while he's a baby.

We'll be back next year! Hopefully with two vehicles 🤞

Been a hot minute since I've been able to come back home and get stuff done in the shop, and there's too much cleaning that needs done 😭 I gotta start coming back more often and now that my son is becoming less of a newborn and more a toddler I think it'll be a lot easier to make that happen. They grow up too fast though

Sorry that I've been so terrible with keeping everyone updated on how this season has been going, mostly we've been broken and only had the Suburban running for Rocky Mountain Race Week Mega Week, but the transmission is at Bubba Ginn Racing Transmission being rebuilt! We should be back in business before the end of the season 💪
