Well done BMW. WELL DONE! Radiuses, rounded corners, proportions. Those are exactly the features I wanted to see mixed with the Neue Klasse DNA to make it more automotive and less M5 industrial.

Look at how it totally transforms the car when we add just a bit of softness to corners and not have everything being designed with a ruler.

Love the E30 inspired sumo fenders and the integrated ducktail. The pointy 2002 front end.

This car is automotive and organic where it needs to be, functional and static where it makes sense.

Interior? What can I say. At least they dropped the fourth spoke on the steering wheel. Wish the screen got a more loving integration in the dash.

Happy to see this development and looking forward to what the ICE M3 will look like.

It’s been a good run. Thank you Toyota for actually building the MK5 Supra even though you were criticized for partnering with BMW. At least we got one.

What I’ve always loved about the Supra is that it never fell into the aggressive styling for the sake of looking aggressive.

It’s composed, confident, subtle. I do wish the MK5 was even simpler in its design, less unnecessary fake vents, cleaner lower front section.

The MK4 will always be special to me. Those volumes and proportions are still out of this world. The interior completely disregards the passenger and focuses solely on the driver. Beautiful.

Hopefully we’ll get a MK6 at some point.

If there’s one designer I’m always inspired by it has to be the work of Luc Donckerwolke. From introducing the Gallardo and Murcielago in the early 2000’s to completely revamping and shaping Genesis to what it is today. Mind blowing career.

The Murcielago evolved into a completely different machine from its birth with the Superveloce. It started its life using extremely simple geometric volumes only to transform into a road legal Le Mans race car.

I loved every iteration of it but my favorite is the LP640. It retains the classic elements of the original while updating small graphic details such as the taillights, diffuser and bumpers to make it slightly more modern and dynamic.

One of my all time favorite supercars. It’s raw yet refined and looks like an absolute unit on the road.

The Bruno Sacco signature Mercedes taillights were not only for looks, there was deep thought behind these designs.

The unique ribbed lenses created these horizontal grooves which allowed for the light elements to be seen even through heavy weather conditions like snow and ice.

The pattern didn’t allow for dirt to build up across the entire lens and always left some part of it clear.

On top of that the design had the grooves fade as they wrapped around the corner of the car for a sleek and aerodynamic integration between the lens and the bodywork.

Can we bring back this attention to even the smallest details please?

Well what do we have here. A limited edition Audi R8 successor with a twin turbo V8.

Not only that, this new Audi Nuvolari is a huge improvement in terms of design over the C Concept. Both exterior and interior.

Still has the spirit of the C Concept but instead of wrapping the car in flat, uninteresting surfaces, we now have so many more features to study.

The wider, textured grille, the larger front air intakes, thr Murcielago-like bat intakes behind the cabin and that rear end with a centered exhaust pipe.

The interior might be minimalist but have you seen the recent Audi interior? This is progress in the right direction. Housing for the cluster, a few physical k***s and buttons, decently integrated screen thats isn’t 52” wide.

I like it. After seeing this I’m not more excited to see what they’ll do with the next gen TT.
