Natchez Radio was founded in 1941 by P.K. Ewing. The station began as WMIS 1240 am but has since expanded to WTYJ 97.7 fm and live radio that can be accessed from Natchezradio.com at anytime day or night. We are known for being the eyes and ears of the black community. Our musical genre includes Gospel, Blues, and R&B. You can also hear News, Sports, Weather, Call-in talk Programs and Local Christian Services on Sundays. WTYJ 97.7 is affiliated with ABN ( American Blues Network) AUN/NBN ( American Urban Network/National Black Network) and SUN (Southern Urban Network) Alcorn State Braves Network and Jackson State Tigers Network. Natchez Radio takes pride in their amazing local air personalities, many of who have been recognized through various award organizations.
