ICON Magazine is an annual publication sponsored by the FIT Student Association that showcases student work from a wide variety of creative disciplines.

ICON is a student club sponsored by FIT Student Association that showcases the diverse talents of all the students at FIT, in two ways: through the lush annual magazine that we publish and posts on our website. ICON is published annually at the beginning of the spring semester, and work is gathered throughout the year. Selections for the print magazine are made in the early fall semester. Icon Mag

azine, previously known as Creative Showcase, was founded in 1977 as a publication club that combined poetry and art created by members of the student body to promote the literary and visual talents of our student body. Although its form has changed over the years, its members none the less feel that showcasing work is not only beautiful and important for promoting the students, but also to show the hidden talents in school. What began as an appreciation for our talented student body grew to something bigger. We represent the history of our school, we provide inspiration for our student body, and we also grew into providing professional experience for our members.
