Got a look inside the chocolate factory at Li-Lac Chocolates in Industry City, Brooklyn.

This is New York's oldest chocolate house, they've been hand making chocolate since 1923 with the same original recipes, and you can literally watch it happen through the windows.
Everything is boxed up and ready to go, so if you need a gift that doesn't feel last minute, this is the move.

📍 68 35th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232, open daily 11am to 7pm.
Share this with someone who owes you chocolate.

we’ve never met, why are you in my collab requests? 😂

To be frank: sent me a collaboration request out of nowhere. Never heard of them, never worked with them. Usually that’s an instant ignore from me.

But I had a flight out of LGA the next morning, so I told them: don’t just ask for a share, let me actually USE the service and I’ll give my honest thoughts.

Here’s the real review. Owner Micky Singh is from Long Island, been driving in NYC since 2020, started Blackbird this past January. He sent his first class ride, a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLS450. Heated reclining rear seats, panoramic sunroof, legroom for days. Driver Ricky picked me up at 8am sharp, handled my luggage, walked me through everything in the car, easy to talk to.

Pricing is straightforward: business class $130, business SUV $150, first class $170 from the Bronx to LGA. They price by miles, time, and vehicle.

Honest take: if you’re a brand or agency looking to treat a client or a creator right on a trip, or you just want a car waiting outside so you don’t have to think about getting to the airport, this is a move. First time a random collab request actually worked out.

Creators, has a brand you never heard of ever sent you a collab request out of nowhere? 👇

Getting ready for game day just got a lot easier.

A huge thank you to General Mills for sending over this amazing game day PR package.

They really covered all the bases for a perfect watch party. The haul included Chex Mix, Betty Crocker cupcakes, Reese's Pieces, Progresso soups, Annie's Homegrown macaroni snacks, Old El Paso, and even some Blue Buffalo dog treats.

Since my college days up at SUNY Fredonia, I have been a huge Buffalo Bills fan. Right now the Bills are 2 and 0, so the energy is high for this season. To celebrate today, I am incredibly excited to use the Old El Paso taco seasoning and stand and stuff shells to make some game day tacos. And of course, being a Bills fan means I will be making some wings on the side regardless.

What is your absolute favorite game day snack to make at home? Let me know in the comments!

I was lucky enough to attend opening night at the Metropolitan Opera to see Verdi’s Macbeth… experiencing the arts inside the largest opera house in the world is something truly unmatched. 🎭✨

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to enjoy the opera thanks to amazing partners like Relay in the past, and sharing opening night with Melanie made it even more unforgettable.

Serendipitously, Mayor Mamdani just announced a massive new initiative: 70,000 FREE Met Opera tickets for New Yorkers (10,000 dropped via lottery every month)! 🗽🎟️

If you’ve never seen the opera, consider this your sign to go. It’s genuinely the most iconic New York experience… and the perfect excuse to dress up, something I feel like we’ve all been missing lately. 🥂✨

This is in The Bronx! If you think you have seen every dessert spot in the city, you need to head over to Little Yemen in Morris Park. This was my first time having all this right here in the Bronx, and it completely blew me away.

I stopped by Juice Time, and Moses showed me exactly how they do it. They have an impressive lineup of drinks, pouring everything from fresh juices and smoothies to wild milkshakes like the Heart Healer. But the sweets are on another level. You can grab treats like their incredible crepe rolls stuffed with strawberries and sliced up just like sushi, but you absolutely cannot leave without trying their authentic Middle Eastern desserts.

The Palestinian hot cheese knafeh is a must order. Moses taught me to say Bismillah before digging in, and you have to eat it warm to get that perfect cheese stretch. This spot is perfect for a date night or if you want to switch up your usual dessert routine, especially since you can take your treats downstairs to hang out in their PlayStation gaming lounge.

Here is everything we had:
The Heart Healer Milkshake (mango, strawberry, vanilla ice cream)
The Emperor Milkshake
Sushi Style Crepe Roll with fresh strawberries
Palestinian Hot Cheese Knafeh
Dubai Chocolate Labubu Cake
Hanan Mix Brownie Platter
Blue Raspberry Virgin Mojito
Tres Leches Cake

Location:
Juice Time
640 Morris Park Ave, Bronx, NY 10460, Morris Park, Bronx, NY

What are you ordering first? Let me know in the comments.

You guys know I love a good cheese spread, but I finally learned how to actually build a proper one! I got the chance to learn the basics of creating an amazing game day board thanks to Parmigiano Reggiano.

If you are looking to do this exact experience yourself, it is available to book on Airbnb Experiences!

We explored different ages of the cheese and learned some simple pairing principles right here in Tribeca. Honestly, this is the perfect skill to learn if you want to show off on your next date or if you are looking to upgrade your weekend hosting game. Without a doubt, Parmigiano Reggiano elevates every experience.

After the masterclass, we grabbed our boards and settled in for a communal watch party for the New York Jets away game. Parmigiano Reggiano is a proud partner of the New York Jets again this season, and it made the whole afternoon fantastic.
