The stories of difference-makers in the human service sector are some of our favorites to tell! This piece, which opened the OKDHS DDS Statewide Training, brought the house down—and brought home a silver Telly Award for its use of digital environments.  
 
We loved using our LED wall to emphasize the words of our speaker ... and to literally surround her with the words of support she deserves. ❤️💪

That’s not your morning alarm—it’s the sound of our latest three-time Telly Award–winning video. 🏅🥉🥉
 
The opener we created for the annual Familyhood Statewide Training leaned into the frenetic energy of everyday life and was recognized for Sound & Sound Design and Videography & Cinematography.
 
We’re proud to share that the story resonated beyond the judges’ table and also landed a People’s Telly, awarded by popular vote. 🙌

One of the prompts for this year’s Oklahoma City 48 Hour Film Project was the line, “You can’t do that.” But after an exhilarating weekend of serving as an Official Sponsor Partner, One Set Studio is thrilled to say to our team and all participants: “You DID do that.” 💪🎥 

We were proud to host the competition’s kickoff and watch creativity flourish in our city. We can’t control the sun and the moon—but we can come close! We teamed up with Saxum and the Oklahoma Lottery to bring this exciting project to life. Using Unreal Engine 5 and our virtual production studio, we seamlessly shifted through two seasons in a single day, controlling the sun and moon with the click of a button to move from day to night for each season. What would have taken 6-8 months to film, we completed in just 6 hours. We’re thrilled with how it turned out—and inspired by the creative minds behind this amazing collaboration!

Film isn’t a linear process, produced in silos. It’s a dynamic interplay of talent—and it takes an incredible cast of characters to pull it off.

At Film Day at the Capitol, we saw the full circle: writers, actors, directors, techs, and legislators, all showing up in support of our state’s creative economy. It wasn’t just a gathering—it was a celebration of how far we’ve come.

This was another historic milestone for Oklahoma’s film, music, and creative industries. The commitment is real. The momentum is growing. And One Set Studio is proud to be part of a unified industry shaping what’s next.

🎬 New Coalition Member: One Set Studio! 🎬

Based in downtown Oklahoma City, One Set Studio puts the “future” in The Future Is Film. This fully virtual production facility is outfitted with advanced tools — including a 40-foot curved LED wall and a 10-foot articulating LED ceiling — combining real-time VFX, AR, and rendering to help creators visualize, shoot, and refine content all in one space.

Their cutting-edge approach earned them an Oklahoma Innovation Expansion Program (OIEP) grant, recognizing One Set Studio’s role in driving economic diversification and high-impact investment in the state. This recognition highlights a core belief of our coalition: the creative economy isn’t just about storytelling — it’s about infrastructure, technology, and sustainable growth.

While recently being a solution for scenes from Martin Sheen's upcoming feature—The One—One Set Studio is built for more than movies. Their virtual production space is a powerful hub for both narrative and business-driven content — from commercials and corporate trainings to compelling storytelling and live broadcasting.

Under the leadership of Director Tava Maloy Sofsky and Studio Manager Austin Patterson, One Set Studio, an Oklahoma Certified Soundstage, is helping define the next chapter of Oklahoma’s creative economy.
