The builds may have slowed down for a minute... but the shop sure didn't. 🔥

For the last couple of months we've been covered in paint, steel, tools, and construction dust while transforming the Beaman Builds home shop into a place we're proud of.

New metal walls. Fresh floors. Better lighting. Cleaner workspace.

It's taken a lot longer than expected, but we're finally at the point where we can get back to what we love most—building cool stuff and sharing it with all of you.

May 26th has always been a hard day for me.

On May 26th, 2018, I lost my dad. He was a huge car guy and one of the biggest reasons I fell in love with horsepower, racing, and cars in the first place.

Then on May 26th, 2025… Side Piece fired for the very first time.

And then, on May 26th, 2026…
I laid down my best fuel-only number ever: 1,537 horsepower

I’ve been pushing myself this year to learn how to REALLY drive this truck fuel only so I can compete in dyno competitions this season, and this run meant a lot more to me than just a number.

It’s strange how life works sometimes.
The day that used to hurt the most somehow keeps turning into some of the most meaningful and memorable days. Days that make you smile and accomplished - exactly how he would want to see us.

Feels like he was there for us❤️

We thought Side Piece just needed paint… Turns out we were VERY wrong! 😅

What started as a simple paint job quickly turned into uncovering rust, hidden damage, bad bodywork, and years of problems hiding underneath the wrap on our old farm truck.

In Episode 2 of Side Piece Season 2, we head down to Milkman Customs to deliver something to him. I got to see what it REALLY takes to prep a high-horsepower diesel truck for a true show-quality paint job — and let’s just say Mason found way more than we expected!

This build has always been about pushing limits, but this part of the journey honestly caught us off guard.

Huge shoutout to Mason at Milkman Customs for taking on this insane project and refusing to cut corners. The amount of work taht went into this truck is unreal!

Turns out Side Piece is a LOT meaner from the driver seat than the spectator side! 😅

This was only my second time ever dyno'ing Side Piece… and let’s just say she gets REAL spicy up in the RPMs. (If you’ve watched our old YouTube videos, you already know Wes used to lift early because this truck is no joke on the rollers 👀)

Fuel only numbers from the x Beaman Builds Grand Opening Dyno Event:
🔥 Deb: 1,145 HP
🔥 Wes: 1,377 HP

No nitrous. No spray. Just fuel!

Apparently Wes needed to remind me he still wins at SOME things… maybe he’s still bitter about what DEBICON can do on the trails 😂

Honestly though, this event blew us away. Huge thank you to every single person who showed up, supported the shop, ran the dyno, hung out, helped, laughed with us, and made this grand opening something special. Seeing the community come together like that made all the stress worth it ❤️

And for me personally? Getting seat time behind the wheel of Side Piece matters. The goal this year is simple:
➡️ 2,000 HP fuel only (Deb will run)
➡️ 3,000 HP on nitrous (Wes will run)

Which means I better get comfortable driving this angry thing!😅

What started as “maybe 30 trucks” turned into an absolutely insane day! 🤯🔥

Over 35 trucks hit the dyno, a couple hundred people showed up, the taco truck kept everybody fed, and the energy all day was unreal!

Huge thank you to everyone who came out, supported the shop, hung out, and made the very first + Beaman Builds Dyno Day something we’ll never forget.
