Vedic astrology is more than simply “Indian astrology.” It comes from the ancient tradition of Jyotisha and offers another way of understanding the relationship between the heavens, time, cycles, and human life.

The zodiac is measured differently.
The Moon takes on a powerful role.
The Nakshatras bring another layer to the lunar journey.

Planetary periods introduce the element of timing.
And the idea of Dharma asks us to look beyond simply knowing who we are—
and begin asking what we are meant to do with what we’ve been given.

Western astrology is one lens.
Vedic astrology is another.
Different traditions. Different calculations. Different histories.

But we’re still looking up at the same sky.
A new age. Same sky. Another lens.

Before we start going deeper into Skyweaving, I think it’s important to understand the system we’re standing on.

Western astrology is more than a horoscope in a magazine.
It’s a language of time, the planets, the signs, the houses, and the relationship between the sky and our lives.

Your Sun sign isn't your whole story.
You are a whole damn sky.
And once you start learning how all those pieces work together, astrology becomes less about asking,
“What’s going to happen to me?” and more about understanding the patterns you’re already living.

Humanity has been looking up for a long damn time.
Different cultures. Different systems. Different ways of measuring the heavens.

But we’re still looking up at the same sky.
A new age. Same sky.
