I went to Scottsdale Fashion Square to see if retail could change my mind about secondhand designer shopping... it didn't! 😅

Between the eye-watering prices and the fact that so many "luxury" pieces aren't even made of the materials you'd expect, it's exactly why I stick to thrifting and buying preloved designer instead. Same look, same quality, a fraction of the cost and, better character too.

Scottsdale Fashion Square has really leveled up lately with new luxury stores opening (hello Hermès, Loro Piana, and Chanel, with Celine coming soon 👀), but even with all that shine, retail still can't compete with a good secondhand find ‼️

Can you believe someone left these behind on the clearance racks?! 😱

I scored a stunning horse motif print ALICE + OLIVIA by Stacey Bendet blouse AND it’s 100% silk!! One of my fav finds! 🤩 I also got a stunning RAILS seashell motif too that I love! The digging was completely worth it for these gems! 💎

This is exactly why Last Chance is hands down one of my favorite spots for a good old-fashioned luxury treasure hunt 👑 I stumbled across this wild SAINT LAURENT piece today and my jaw hit the floor! 😱😱Be honest guys, would you ever be willing to pay this kind of price for a rare, limited-edition designer piece, or is it a hard pass?! 💸👇

To make this trip even wilder, shopping here is about to get way crazier. Now that the Chicago location is officially closing down, our Phoenix spot is officially the last remaining Last Chance store standing in the entire country! 🌵
