We asked our 4 year old to review the national parks we visited this Summer. Here is his official statement.
⭐⭐⭐ 3 out of 5 stars.
“I liked exploring there and getting my ram stuffy but not hiking and not the wind because I was walking and it hit me so I didn’t like the wind.”
That is a direct quote. From the mouths of babes 😆
What the review does not fully capture is the sheer personality he brought to every single stop. The goofy poses at every viewpoint. The hilarious parking lot moment when he just needed to rest and didn’t care where he was. The way he burrowed into dad’s lap every time the wind picked up like dad was a human windshield. The cheesy smile and double thumbs up at the Canyonlands visitor center that told us he was ready for the next adventure.
He complained. He climbed and explored. He posed for almost no normal pictures. He found a ram stuffy in the gift shop and decided the whole trip was worth it. And then he earned his Junior Ranger badges and took his oaths proudly.
3 stars. Junior Ranger certified. Ram stuffy acquired. Wind still not invited.
