The Ecru board of aldermen recently amended the zoning ordinance concerning billboards. When fully in force come June, the amendment makes the following signs unlawful in the town. Billboard or off premises signs; as well as any signs that imitate, resemble, interfere with, or obstruct traffic lights, signs or signals. If you are going to put up signs of any kind you should contact the town hall before doing so for the correct instructions on what is allowed.
