Behind the scenes, many people know me from running First Source News — covering breaking news, fires, major incidents, and community events across the region.

What many may not know is during the daytime, I also work with AlertPage.net, a service that helps provide real-time emergency notifications and lead alerts for restoration companies responding to fire, water, storm, and other property damage incidents.

Between both roles, my days are centered around emergency information, fast-moving situations, and helping keep people informed.

From working professionally in the emergency alert industry during the day to managing First Source News around the clock, I truly appreciate everyone who continues supporting local independent news coverage and the work that goes into it every single day.

ROUTE 309 BYPASS SOUTH 🚧

The oversized load that became stuck under the bridge on the Route 309 Bypass southbound near Tollgate Road is now reportedly at Rich Hill Road, meaning the closure should not last much longer.

Traffic delays are still being reported in the area, but crews appear to be making progress clearing the oversized vehicle from the scene.

Motorists should continue to use caution and expect residual delays until the roadway is fully reopened.

🚨🔥 APARTMENT FIRE 🔥🚨

📍 Northampton County | Bethlehem
📍 133 West Union Boulevard – Moravian House III

Emergency crews responded to Moravian House III for a reported fire on the 5th floor of the apartment building. Scanner reports indicate the fire has since been placed under control by responding firefighters.

No additional information on injuries or damage has been released at this time.

The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly traded star WR A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots in a blockbuster deal.

Brown leaves Philadelphia after becoming one of the NFL’s top receivers and one of Jalen Hurts’ favorite targets. Reports indicate the Eagles are receiving major future draft compensation as New England lands a true No. 1 weapon for QB Drake Maye.

LODD | PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD

The Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department is mourning the passing of Firefighter/Paramedic Demair Lloyd.

Officials say Lloyd suffered a medical emergency at home after completing his regular 24-hour shift.

He served with the department since 2006 and was assigned to Station 841 in Calverton.

Please keep Firefighter/Paramedic Lloyd’s family, friends, Station 841, IAFF Local 1619, and the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department in your thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE: Allentown police say no one was struck by gunfire following Saturday night’s shooting investigation in the 300 block of Linden Street.

Police say a single shot was fired during the incident, however one person was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained during an altercation at the scene.

Earlier scanner reports indicated multiple possible shooting victims as officers secured the area.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Police are on scene of a reported shooting with at least 2 people shot Saturday evening in the 300 block of Linden Street in Allentown.

Scanner reports indicate officers currently have 1 person at gunpoint as the scene remains active.

Emergency crews responded to the 200 block of East Broad Street around 11 a.m. Saturday for a reported two-vehicle crash.
