If a Kayak’s been on the Used page for a few months we slashed the price to our cost. Time to move some stuff along before the season ends. We have a massive selection of $50-100 PFD’s and used paddles as well.

Today’s demo was with Odo, who drove up from Chico to compare the Hurricane Kayaks Osprey 120 and Prima 125. Thankfully we had a bit of wind on the demo so he could see how both handles in some chop. Although both performed well, Odo noted that the Prima was easy for him to cut through the waves and felt more maneuverable. So he’s taking my teal demo home with him! Enjoy your new kayak. 👋

Paddling the bay never gets old. I drove out the Redwood Water Sports to deliver them a fresh load of Stellar Kayaks and while I was in town I connected with a few paddling buddies for a quick paddle.

They took me on a Bair Island Ecological Preserve tour which included an epic downwind surf in the South Bay. As we pulled into the harbor the wind piped down and it turned into glass. There was a most vibrant water scene going on. Outrigger canoe clubs, college Rowing , a youth Sailing club, tub boats, giant freight ships and us.

If you’re in the Bay Area I would have to recommend checking out Redwood City Watersports and the epic playground they have out their back door.

Kick long off Labor Day Weekend with a nature tour down the Sacramento River. We teamed up with Western Shasta RCD to provide deep inside about the river ecosystem that runs through our town. I loved having their level of expertise on a tour!
