Florence might be our new favorite city in Italy!
We loved everything about it including this biking and wine tasting tour with I Bike Italy.

This was the perfect way to see the city, learn the history and see parts of the Tuscan wine country we would have never seen otherwise.

Not only did we get to bike through the country side we also got to tour a cute little family owned winery Azienda Agricola Lanciola enjoy a tasting and lunch before we headed back.

Not only was this a highlight of our time in Florence but a highlight of our entire time in Italy!

When in Pisa!
Took a day trip from Florence to see the leaning tower; so of course, had to get these obligatory photos.
And taking these are much harder than you think lol

And, thankful for all the certified GF restaurants in Italy, making it easier for Tyler and all of us to be able to grab bites to eat together!

Don’t get me wrong, I Love being able to get patients out of bed but I’ll be honest; it’s a lot more fun walking around Italy looking for a wine window than walking up and down the hospital hallways trying to find that one available recliner chair.

Golden Hour at the Colosseum

If you’re going to tour the colosseum we highly recommend an evening tour. We’ve now done both a morning tour and an evening tour and the evening was hands down, our favorite!
It was cooler, less crowded and there was something about watching the sun start to go down while inside.

And to top it off, once the tour ends you get to watch the sun setting on the colosseum!
