Wild Bunch Family We’re the Wild Bunch Fam — a family of five taking on the road full-time.

Big mileage, big memories, and big stories told through travel, filmmaking, and everyday adventure.

How would you spend your evenings?

We sold our 4 bedroom house and everything in it. We had a dream of buying an RV and traveling together.

We spend our evenings by the fire now instead of in front of screens. This isn’t for everyone. So far it’s been an amazing adventure. We’ve already crossed the country twice. The kids do miss their old life sometimes. And we’re learning society isn’t set up to support nomads. But we’re doing it anyway.

Last night we dove into the magic of the Lunar New Year festival at Stone Mountain Park—dragons dancing, lanterns glowing everywhere! 🌙🐉 The family’s eyes lit up watching the lion dances roar to life, epic fireworks explode, a stunning drone show light the sky, and the kids going wild at the high-energy K-Pop dance club. Pure joy in every roar, burst, glow, and beat.
What’s your fave Lunar New Year memory—like fireworks, drones, K-Pop dances, or a tradition? Spill in the comments—let’s celebrate together! 🎊

Just got off work, sparked up this campfire by the lake, and it hit me: THIS is freedom. No mowing lawns, no leaky roofs, no house hassles—just my Brinkley trailer, the family, and flames crackling under the stars. Full-time RV life means adventures start right after clocking out. Who’s ready to ditch the maintenance grind? Drop your fave post-work ritual below! 🔥🏕️

Used to think the point was grinding to be the best camera op possible. Then I married my best friend, had our three wild ones, and realized: no job beats these people. Every second with them is gold.
So we sold it all. City traffic hell ➡️ empty desert roads from the truck dash. This is what ‘living well’ looks like for the .
What’s the one thing you’d ditch it all for?

Morning with a cat and a view.

This adventure has been incredible so far. In contemplative moments like these I realize how important it is to be present.

Nothing in life is guaranteed. We’re told every day that we aren’t valued. Between advertisers telling us we’ll be better with their product, people at work telling us there’s someone else who can do our job better, and the constant comparison we do in our own mind at home. It’s time we take a minute and realize that we are enough.

We don’t need more. We don’t need to buy that thing. We don’t need to keep up with the neighbors. Our value as a human doesn’t come from a performance review.

Every single one of us is amazing.

Stepping away from society to live a life of adventure and being weirdos is teaching me so much already. I don’t know where this road is going. But I’m enjoying getting to know who I am along the way.

I was driving along a lonely highway when I saw this little building. I thought nothing of it until right as we passed it. I quickly slowed all 22,000lbs of our truck and trailer down from 65 mph and pulled to the side. “It’s the Marfa Prada Store!” I said.

It took me a while to actually stop safely and we had gone pretty far past it by the time I pulled to the side of the dusty highway. There wasn’t really anywhere to turn around since this road isn’t really that wide and it ain’t easy to make a U-turn in a 46 foot long vehicle. So, I just backed up for about a 1/4 mile along the side of the road. It wasn’t the prettiest thing, but I made it work.

Prada Marfa is the iconic fake luxury boutique art installation by artists Elmgreen & Dragset, built in 2005 near Marfa, TX. Stocked with real Prada bags and heels from that year behind sealed glass. You can’t even go inside (a fact which confused Fiona). it's a hilarious jab at consumerism and pop culture.

There’s really nothing to do there but look and contemplate its meaning. Which I took to be a commentary on the value of “things” when contrasted with this barren land.

Is value real?
What’s truly important?
Will the land slowly reclaim this building? And if so isn’t that kind of the point of the piece? Like, Mother Nature doesn’t care a bit about your designer bag and shoes. She’s just out here quietly existing.

It’s all very odd on the surface. But then, the longer you stand and simply experience the place you begin to consider things differently.

I thought I would be able to get out of the site today after my “fix” yesterday. However, I learned a few more things today. I’m gonna start calling this rig the Busdriver because it is taking me to school.

Basically, I was able to get the hydraulics to work by connecting my jumper cables from my truck yesterday in order to get it leveled. I thought this would get us to Georgia and back to our dealership where they could fix any issues properly. I also ran a battery charger all night which read full charge this morning.

Well, apparently the fix didn’t work. As soon as I attempted to bring the slide in it slowed to a stop and died. WHAT?!?!

So I had to get the wonderful folks at Kelly’s RV Mobile Service out of Livingston, TX to come on short notice and work their magic.

They chased the issue a bit with a multi-meter until finally they found the culprit. It was a 100amp ignition protected fuse on the battery post itself that had blown. They removed that fuse and everything worked perfectly.

I’m not sure what that fuse is for (it has to be important or it wouldn’t be there.

The bigger question is, what could have caused a 100amp fuse to blow?

I’ll call the dealer tomorrow as well as Brinkley. But hopefully we’re ok for two more days.
