Last winter in Bali felt like living inside a slow, beautiful dream. 🌿✨

Theresia and I spent most of the season exploring the island we’ve grown to love so deeply, and one of the most special parts was sharing it with our dear friend Jen during her 12-day visit. Alongside my wife’s parents and sister, we spent our days chasing meaningful moments, beautiful landscapes, and the kind of memories that stay with you long after the trip ends.

We wandered through the peaceful streets of Ubud, took part in a traditional melukat water purification ceremony, and escaped to the misty mountains of Kintamani where we soaked in natural hot springs beneath the rain, reading books and listening to the quiet sounds of nature. Some days were spent by the ocean, while others led us across Nusa Penida — standing before dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches, crystal-clear water, and unforgettable dives with manta rays gliding silently beneath us.

The weather didn’t always cooperate. Rain followed us through much of the journey, turning many plans into little adventures of their own. But somehow, that only made everything feel more real, more intimate, and more memorable.

On Jen’s final evening, we took one last slow walk through the rice fields at golden hour — one of our favorite simple pleasures in Bali. The soft breeze, the glowing light, and the endless green stretching into the distance felt almost unreal. Quiet, peaceful, and deeply beautiful in the way Bali so often is. 🤍

Katelyn and Daniel’s wedding day at StoneTree Estate was filled with the kind of beauty that lingers in your heart long after the night ends. As the sun faded into evening, the celebration transformed into something magical. Beneath sparkling indoor fireworks, Katelyn and Daniel shared a breathtaking first dance that felt straight out of a dream — intimate, cinematic, and overflowing with joy. 💍
