It's June 11th here are some things to look forward to the rest of the month!
1. In sports: The Stanley Cup Finals, and the NBA Finals are underway. The FIFA World Cup started today, and the U.S. team takes on Paraguay tomorrow.
The UFC-White House event, "UFC Freedom 250", is going down June 14th. Golf's U.S. Open is June 18th through the 21st.
2. The first official day of summer is June 21st. That also happens to be Father's Day this year.
3. A ton of movies are hitting theaters: Steven Spielberg's "Disclosure Day" will be released on the 12th. "Toy Story 5" is out June 19th. And "Supergirl" and "Jackass: Best and Last" both hit theaters June 26th.
4. On TV and streaming: New seasons of "America's Got Talent" and "Love Island" have started, and season 5 of "Sweet Magnolias" comes to Netflix today.
Season 3 of "House of the Dragon" will be on HBO on the 21st. Season 2 of the live-action "Avatar: The Last Airbender" hits Netflix on June 25th. And the fifth and final season of FX's "The Bear" will premiere on June 25th.
If you're into awards shows and music specials, there are a few that should be on your radar: "The BET Awards" are on June 28th . . . and "CMA Fest" will air on ABC June 25th and Hulu the following day.
5. And finally, the holidays: The big ones are Father's Day on the 21st, and Juneteenth on the 19th. Also, it's Pride Month. And we're gearing up for America's big 250th birthday in July.
A few more: Flag Day is on the 14th . . . the 19th is National Martini Day . . . and National Selfie Day is June 21st.
