The theme & water park that opened in Federal Way in 1977 has announced that it will shutter after next year's season. Wild Waves will open over Memorial Day weekend 2026 and its final day will be Nov. 1, 2026.

Was anyone here at this show?! Hi it's Gregr posting here and if there was any concert I wish I could time travel to, it would be this one. The dark haired guitarist, Guy, is my favorite artist of any medium and Fugazi my favorite band. They love Olympia and played this theater frequently during their decade plus of touring. Rarely have I seen someone hand themselves over to their art as wholy as Guy. We are not at all alike (I'm more of an grumpy Ian) and maybe that's why he's so profoundly magical to me. If you read this far, you're a gem. Ok bye!
