Announcing a special opportunity for Bay Area artists: KEXP and Noise Pop Festival will join together in 2026 to offer one artist a chance to record a Live on KEXP session at 25th Street Recording in Oakland during the Festival.
The selected artist will also be invited to play an opening slot at a presentation of KEXP’s Vinelands Live at a local San Francisco venue, presented live and broadcasted on KEXP 92.7 FM.
This opportunity is open to Bay Area and Northern California artists only.

KEXP at Seattle Center is home to our audio and video broadcast studios, the KEXP Live Room and Viewing Gallery, as well as the Gathering Space, a community hub for music lovers. Join us at KEXP for a cup of coffee from La Marzocco's featured roaster, shop for music at Light in the Attic Record Shop, listen to the live radio broadcast, experience special events, and access free live performances.
KEXP is located at the northwest corner of Seattle Center's campus just north of KeyArena and a short walk from the Space Needle, MoPop, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and McCaw Hall, Seattle Center Armory and more. Our main entrance is on 1st Ave N between Thomas and Republican, and all public entrances are accessible.
How to get here:
From I-5 - Take the Mercer Street Exit and follow the signs to Seattle Center. Turn left on Warren Avenue North.
Metro busses northbound #1, 2, 8, 13, 32 and RapidRide D Line stop at our front door.
The Monorail can bring you from downtown to Seattle Center campus, a short walk from KEXP
Parking:
KEXP has no dedicated parking. There is paid street parking surrounding Seattle Center and a paid lot one block south of KeyArena. Bike parking is available within the courtyard to the east of our building.
