Come together to fight diarrhea lettuce!!!
Quick research: Cyclosporiasis is a foodborne gastrointestinal illness caused by a microscopic parasite. The parasite is transmitted via the fecal-oral route, meaning the food or water supply has been contaminated by human waste. The illness primarily causes watery, sometimes “explosive” diarrhea. Other symptoms include severe stomach cramps, nausea, fatigue, bloating, and low-grade fever. Source: UC Davis Health
Latest report was less than 50 cases in Wisconsin. Who knows if this is the peak or just the beginning.
