Alot of times people don’t take chances on themselves. What will happen if you start the business and fail. Failure is your strength to learn and pivot. These were the exact words of .rida on September 10th 2020 during an Instagram live.

I had just bought a camera to create content. I wasn’t getting brand deals at the time so I decided to pivot into photography with the camera and hence the birth of .

I personally pitched a collaboration to Hayet to be her photographer. I’m not the best photographer in the DMV but I sent my pitch, why because on that call she also said we should not be afraid of rejection.

It’s been five years of living by all those words of encouragement from this woman I call Aunty. Yes I’m older than her but the way she has impacted me mentally and physically is beyond words.

It’s been a full circle moment working with her and just photographing her event. Was I nervous? Absolutely because Sis taught me how to take pictures and edit.

I’m glad our paths crossed on this internet because I’ve been blessed by her ministry.

Your body is not a trash can to dump everything init. This quote chaged me. I never thought I could loose weight because everything I did to loose failed.

The only thing that kept me going was my relentless desire to keep going. The desire to become a better version of myself. The desire to be healthier for my young kids.

If you are new here and you doubt if you will ever loose the weight, remember that you alone have the power to make changes beyond going to the Gym.

The changes requires a complete lifestyle adjustment. The one that requires you to scroll less and sleep more. The one that requires meal prepping more.

Weight loss indeed starts from the kitchen and the mind.
