The Gold Circle (50+ years) and Silver Circle (25+ years) are open to individuals who have had extensive careers in television — whether in performing, creative, technical, or administrative roles within the industry, or in closely related areas such as commercial production, journalism, or education.

Nominations are now open, and run through Dec 15, 2025.

Upon selection by the Committee, recipients will be honored with a commemorative Gold or Silver Circle plaque and pin, presented at the Gold & Silver Circle Dinner.

We are accepting Gold and Silver Circle nominations now through Dec 15!

The Gold Circle (50+ years) and Silver Circle (25+ years) are open to individuals who have had extensive careers in television — whether in performing, creative, technical, or administrative roles within the industry, or in closely related areas such as commercial production, journalism, or education.

Nominees must have made a significant contribution to the television industry, to NATAS, and to the Michigan community during at least part of their career. Equal consideration will be given to candidates who are living or deceased.

We’re down to our last chapter to judge this year! If you haven’t had the chance to judge yet (or still need to meet your judging requirement) this is the perfect time to get it done.

Interested in making the Michigan Emmy® Chapter the best possible? This is an opportunity to make sure your station, production company, organization and/or market is well represented.

Submit your nomination for our Board of Governors by Monday (Sept 8) to Courtney Bennett with a brief biography and photo for the ballot.

Then watch your inbox for the full ballot, with results sent out at the end of September.

Board members serve on a two-year term (this term ending in August 2027) and must attend monthly meetings in person, zoom or conference call.

Each year, our membership elects new professionals with a rotating Board of Governors to represent the Michigan community. While best known for The EMMY® Awards and Silver Circle, which recognize outstanding achievements in our industry, we present an array of other exciting events available to our membership.

We are in search of people who are as passionate about media as they are about giving back to the professional community. The Board of Governors is a working board, which simply put, means we work together collaboratively to ensure we are providing for the best interests of the membership.

Calling all those who are interested in making the Michigan Emmy® Chapter the best possible! This is an opportunity to make sure your station, production company, organization and/or market is well represented.

Members received an email with nomination instructions earlier this week!

We have our final chapter in for judging and judges are needed. The panels are now available on your dashboard for selection or you can contact us with the panel you wish to join!

DON’T FORGET! When judging requirement is met, you will receive a discount on your 2025 entry fees.

WE NEED JUDGES! DEADLINE IS AUGUST 7, 2025!

The success of the Emmy® Awards process depends on the willingness of qualified professionals to serve as judges. Peers in other NATAS Chapters are serving this Chapter's entrants. This Chapter will judge other Chapter's entries. By entering, you agree to serve as a judge when asked. Failure to judge may lead to loss of membership discounts and an additional $25/entry fee. Multiple entries each year may result in having to judge multiple categories. Nominees and recipients make the best judges!
