In search of a local 2 person team with building experience to assemble this 12’ x 25’ car port to cover my fishing boat. I can pay cash for labor and the parts are all onsite. I was going to assemble it myself but recently sustained a torn Achilles tendon so I am currently unable to walk. I can be on-site and directing the assembly (or not if you have enough confidence in the job). Let me know if anyone knows someone in the Spooner, WI area who might be up for the job! Thanks.

Well, it’s official. I have a fully ruptured Achilles tendon, (as in my calf is no longer attached to my heel...) Gonna be a little bit of a rough road ahead but I’m hoping to still be cranking out content on the YouTube channel, it just might be more deep dives and educational content from the shop vs actual fishing videos for a while. I did film an excellent kayak bluegill video yesterday before I blew out my heel though, so there’s that. 😆

My first muskie of 2025 was a beast! She was only 45” long but had an impressive 25” girth. She smoked a .fishing 9” WildEye Swim Shad over a 20’ rock pile.

I was finally able to get the Impact out to the far reaches of the Apostle islands today with good friend and business partner Weldon Hershey and we found one of the most epic shallow water casting/jigging bites I’ve seen. A 4” Crush City Mayor on a 1.5 oz jighead with a stinger was the ticket to get these awesome fish to commit and crush it. We certainly had our share of missed opportunities today as well but connected on enough fish to make it a phenomenal day on Lake Superior. I’ll take this over trolling any day!
