It was long over-due to build a new desk, and purchase a couple of pieces that I had been using in plug-in form to manifest themselves into real hardware.

I finally bought a hardware Pultec-ish (Manultec) device, a very rare, and no-longer made unique EQ, called the Orca Bay, and then, I purchased the single most interesting an useful SSL Bus compressor ever made, the SSL Bus+.

Most of all, I decided to construct a new desk myself, one designed specifically for mastering, but allows me to work while sitting or standing without changing the height.

Congratulations to Al Backstrom for charting at #7 on the Alt-Country chart last week! I love to see my clients chart, but even more impressively, as "Self" labeled. Pretty cool, eh?
