🎬 **This Week at Once Films** 🎬

As deadlines loom and post-production work keeps us on our toes, we find moments to catch our breath and reflect on our creative journey.

This week, we took a step back to enjoy the inspiring program “Curated By Curiosity” featuring the talented Sage Dawson , presented by STL.org. It’s always refreshing to see creativity flourish in our community!

We also rounded out the week Bright and Early with an engaging story time led by Mike Spakowski of Atomicdust and creator of the Bright&Early series. His insights into the business of creative services were not only enlightening but also tied beautifully into the timeless tale of “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” reminding us of the importance of honesty and perception in our work.

This Week at Once… 🎬🐾🍎👞🌳We hit the road — and the skies — for a week of storytelling with style, soul, and a few four-legged friends:🐾 Ohio – Stopped by to see our friends at Purina for some pet therapy and major cuddle content. (Yes, it was as adorable as it sounds.)🍎 Back to the Big Apple – Capturing timeless craftsmanship with Allen Edmonds, where every stitch and sole tells a story. 🌳St. Louis – Proud to support one of our city’s crown jewels at the Hat Luncheon for Forest Park Forever — a celebration of green space, community, and generosity. From pets to polished shoes to park preservation — we’re always chasing stories that matter.

This week has been a poignant reminder of our city’s resilience in the face of adversity. We witnessed the devastation caused by the recent STL tornadoes, affecting some of our communities that are already facing so many challenges. Our efforts are with those hardest hit as they begin to rebuild and heal.

🌳 We also took a moment to capture the impact at Forest Park Forever a cherished resource that reminds us of the beauty we have to protect.

Behind the scenes, we captured stories from Opera Theatre of Saint Louis the dedication of artists and community members coming together during tough times.

Additionally, STL.org hosted another meaningful Curated by CURIOSITY event, focusing on the craft of wet bath photography with Brick City Photography Center, serving as a reminder of the healing power of art. Let’s continue to support one another through these challenging times.

🎻✨ This week was a musical adventure! We had an amazing home visit with St. Louis Symphony Orchestra violinist Hannah, where we learned all about her incredible journey. (Kitty, didn’t mind us one bit!) Huge thanks to Hannah for the warm intro!

And our trip to the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis wardrobe and prop shop was nothing short of magical! 🎭🪄 So many treasures to discover! Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes fun! 🎥🎬

It was a week of culture and community with a trip to COCA (Center of Creative Arts) to capture some beautiful footage for our friends at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis.

But we were also hard at work “gearing up” with on-location shoots and long hours in the editing suites.

On Friday we welcomed the highly anticipated “Telephone” exhibit in the STL.org CURIOSITY space. Stay tuned for the upcoming Curated by CURIOSITY and experience it for yourself!
