- 51 fatalities (81 in 2024 was record high)
- 694 accidents
- 439 injuries
- $25.6 million in property damage

!! NO FISHING !! ATLANTIC RED SNAPPER 39-day red snapper season will not start the night before it began.

A lawsuit filed in federal lawsuit by a commercial fishing trade association has been granted an injuction to cease fishing for red snapper. U.S. Judge Rudolph Contreras will not allow any fishing until he renders a decision.
