Mix season is in full swing over here. 🎚️🔥

Pop, rock, metal, alternative… lots of projects moving right now, and several of them are mix/master-only projects.

Okay… this one’s cool. 🔥

Just upgraded the desk with an SSL UF-8 controller to speed up workflow and automation, and bring the hybrid setup together alongside the UC-1, SiX channels, and Fusion.

Real analog gear. Hands on control. Fast workflow. And… it looks sweet! 😅

New gear day 🔥

Added a second SSL SiX channel strip to the setup for even more tonal shaping options while tracking drums and guitars, plus some new routing and cabling upgrades for mixing duties.

Little changes like this add up fast. Chasing those extra few percent every time.

The new HVAC system is finally in, and the studio is quieter than ever. Took the opportunity to add some extra soundproofing around the utility room too, so isolation is way better for tracking and mixing.

As a bonus, I’m no longer being interrupted every 15 minutes by an air conditioner that sounded like it was trying to achieve liftoff. Progress. 😂
