Bekka Bramlett, the daughter of Bonnie and Delaney Bramlett of the group "Delaney and Bonnie" enjoying the acoustics of the Live Room, giving a shoutout to our very own Ronnie.
Leon was a key collaborator with Delaney & Bonnie, playing guitar and piano, arranging music, and helping them form their famous "Friends" band, which attracted stars like Eric Clapton and George Harrison so it's been very special for Bekka spending time with us, leaning into her heritage.

Steve Ripley would have been 76 today.
Seven years without him, and we still feel his impact
A New Year’s baby who never stopped being creative and innovative
From Charlene Ripley’s collection ; here he is with his friend and client Clarence “Gatemouth”Brown…a moment that says so much about who Steve was and the relationships he built.
We miss him. His influence is still very much part of this place.
Happy heavenly birthday, Steve.

The church was built in 1915 and started as Grace M.E. Church. It was converted to a world-class recording studio in 1972 by Grammy-Award winning musician, singer, songwriter, and producer Leon Russell. Once the historic renovation is complete, the beautiful structure will once again become a recording studio, community space and home to the Church Studio Archive. Today, The Church Studio is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Landmark.
